Friday night saw the team out at Rockfish Speedway for some practicing and quality seat time. Thanks to Bill and Jason for getting the track ready, helping us get the cars setup, and keeping us updated with the data.
Alanna really got her consistency dialed in while Siobhan got plenty of laps in working on a good racing line around the track. It took us a while to get Siobhan’s car to turn but by the end of the night she had shaved about 3 seconds off of her normal lap time. The car was getting through the turns well and she grew ever more comfortable.
Alanna’s car continued to give us some trouble with the chain but the time spent at the track was priceless as it allowed us to resolve our issues.
The time was also well spent introducing a future driver in the Junior Sprints to his new car while providing some seat time and exposure to the track and driving with other cars racing. Looking forward to the growth and the competition.
On Saturday we brought the ARB Racing 07 Junior Sprint out to Brownie’s Memorial Day Fair to help spread the word about the track and the new Junior Sprint division.
