Thanks to the staff at Rockfish Speedway for putting in the work and getting the track ready with all the rain we had. It was a close a call but the weather passed and we got in a great night of racing.
Results:
07 Alanna B – 3rd place
10s Siobhan B – 5th place
Much better luck this week getting both cars to finish the feature, especially after a bit of bad luck for the 07 during the heat race with the driven sprocket snapping off.
However without the benefit of the heat race to see the car setup on the track in race conditions we ended up with a push in turns 3 and 4, which prevented us from capitalizing on the car’s potential.
Siobhan in the 10s continues to get comfortable as her seat time grows in her rookie season of racing. She is nothing short of impressive with her natural ability to handle the car in slick race conditions.

2 good finishes. Ya can’t win them all. When a car is not handling very well, it gives the driver more experience trying to get the most out of the car. Great job.

Thank you. That’s exactly the attitude we’re trying to foster and both of them are taking it in well. Alanna came off the track knowing here car wasn’t handling right, not upset with the finish given the car handling, and talking about what she could have tried differently during the race to try and get the car to stick better. Couldn’t be more proud of them.
